Since starting this blog i have been going through my old portfolio, i can't actually believe that i am on year 2 of photography, its gone so fast, and I've learnt so much, my view on my photography has massively changed, the images that i used to love, i do not so much anymore, my editing has changed more than i could ever imagine. and the images i take now are so different to those i took at the beginning.
I had one photo shoot, it was for a friend i have known for many years, she knew exactly what she wanted and both her children and her put everything into this shoot, they all dressed for the very cold day, the girls in beautiful red dresses, and little kai in a white shirt and red tie, and the girls shoes :) makes me laugh as i write 6 inch heels walking around hinchingbrooke park in the mud made it pure genius.
The images are up there with my favourites, they are shots that i often look back on and love to have a change around with.
i wanted to share the images with you, as i feel they are some of my best..
Thank you kelly for allowing me to capture these moments x x

The moments thats matter.. Mr and Mrs Coleman
For me when i got married i wasn't to worried about having a photographer funny aye, was it because i couldn't do it and i knew i wouldn't be happy with the outcome, (with being a photographer myself) was it that i hate being in front of a camera unless i get to check every time a picture was taken. i don't know but in the end my now husband made us have a photographer and I'm glad he did, even tho 2 years down the line i asked for all the unedited versions and then re edited them myself, i still have the moments that i wouldn't have had if i had chosen not to have one.
Anyways the meaning of this post is, the moments that matter, this image is one of the reasons i love my job, these looks, these emotions,
For me i love to capture the elderly (parents, grandparents, great grandparents) at occasions such as weddings there faces, there emotions they are what i strive for, because these are the moments that matter the photographs you will in years to come look back on and remember when this family member is no longer with you, and you will be forever grateful that this moment was captured.
I tried so hard and my heart panicked a little at trying to capture these moments, but i hope that Mr and Mrs coleman love this photograph, as i remember the emotion in this small amount of time, I've never seen a groom cry so much with joy and happiness as i did at this wedding, this will be the wedding that will always stick in my heart as the wedding that i couldn't capture for a few moments due to the tears that came watching this love story unfold <3

favourites
I find it hard to say this is my favourite, about any photograph that i take.
i have many favourites, and all for very different reasons,
But i must say that there is one very particular photograph that i love very much and am very proud of myself for taking, some may disagree, some may agree. but the love in this photograph brings tears to my eyes, the hurt in this photograph hurts my heart hurt meaning knowing the loss of this relationship is far to near.<3
My First post.
Ok so where to begin? do i begin with a photograph? my best? my favourite?
Do i begin with a description of me? who i am? what i like? what i do?
so i guess i started with a question. :)

it will be asking for advise, opinions.( so be honest)
