For me when i got married i wasn't to worried about having a photographer funny aye, was it because i couldn't do it and i knew i wouldn't be happy with the outcome, (with being a photographer myself) was it that i hate being in front of a camera unless i get to check every time a picture was taken. i don't know but in the end my now husband made us have a photographer and I'm glad he did, even tho 2 years down the line i asked for all the unedited versions and then re edited them myself, i still have the moments that i wouldn't have had if i had chosen not to have one.
Anyways the meaning of this post is, the moments that matter, this image is one of the reasons i love my job, these looks, these emotions,
For me i love to capture the elderly (parents, grandparents, great grandparents) at occasions such as weddings there faces, there emotions they are what i strive for, because these are the moments that matter the photographs you will in years to come look back on and remember when this family member is no longer with you, and you will be forever grateful that this moment was captured.
I tried so hard and my heart panicked a little at trying to capture these moments, but i hope that Mr and Mrs coleman love this photograph, as i remember the emotion in this small amount of time, I've never seen a groom cry so much with joy and happiness as i did at this wedding, this will be the wedding that will always stick in my heart as the wedding that i couldn't capture for a few moments due to the tears that came watching this love story unfold <3
